St. Antonius Hospital wanted to further professionalise several of its communication processes.
For patients, information needed to be made more easily accessible through a single user-friendly platform. At the same time, there was a growing need for professional video content, online meetings and efficient collaboration between healthcare professionals across different locations.

The solution
An integrated audiovisual environment for patients and staff
Together with St. Antonius Hospital, AVEX delivered a range of audiovisual solutions that work together seamlessly.
A new television platform for patients was developed using LG Smart TVs and CareScreen software. Through a single user-friendly environment, patients can easily watch television, view appointments, check medication times and access hospital information.
AVEX also created a professional in-house studio that enables the hospital to produce webinars, patient information, instructional videos, podcasts and live streams. Thanks to the Studio-as-a-Service concept, the studio remains flexible and future-ready, while AVEX provides technical support whenever needed.
Internal collaboration was further supported with audiovisual solutions for meeting rooms, handover rooms, the St. Antonius Academy and video conferencing between different hospital locations. AVEX also delivered digital signage, patient TV and audiovisual facilities for live surgery.
