Ahead of the Olympic Games, hundreds of TeamNL athletes gathered at Papendal for the official team presentation. During the ceremony, the athletes were symbolically handed over to the Chefs de Mission.
As Papendal’s long-standing audiovisual partner, AVEX provided the complete technical production for this special occasion. Video, lighting, audio and live streaming created a professional setting where athletes, organisers and the audience came together to mark the start of TeamNL’s Olympic journey.
The challenge
Creating a ceremony worthy of TeamNL
The official TeamNL kick-off is an important moment in the build-up to the Olympic Games. The ceremony brings together athletes, support staff and organisers and requires a presentation that makes an impact both at the venue and online.
The technology therefore needed to be not only reliable, but also an integral part of the look, feel and overall experience of the event.
The solution
A complete production with video, lighting, audio and live streaming
AVEX provided the complete audiovisual production for the TeamNL kick-off.
A large LED wall formed the centrepiece of the stage, complemented by LED banners displaying specially developed content. AVEX also provided audio support, staging, show lighting, ambient lighting and a multi-camera production for live video on the screens and the live stream.
By bringing all these disciplines together, we created one consistent presentation in which technology and content reinforced each other.
