Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee chosen as GPA Board Member

During the annual GPA CEO Summit, Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee, Managing Director of AVEX Netherlands and Future CEO of AVEX Group, was elected as a member of the GPA Board of Directors.

With this appointment, AVEX gains an even stronger representation within GPA’s international network. This not only creates opportunities for the further development of the organisation, but also for customers who benefit from global knowledge, innovation and collaboration.

A strategic role within a global network

Marjolein’s appointment underlines the confidence that the international GPA organisation has in her vision, leadership and experience within the audiovisual sector.

As a Board Member, she will make an active contribution to GPA’s strategic direction and the further development of the global network over the next three years.

For AVEX, this role also means an even closer connection with international market developments, innovative technologies and best practices from more than fifty countries.

Building the future of AV together

This year, the annual GPA CEO Summit brought together 31 CEOs and representatives from GPA and global partners from more than 50 countries. The summit is dedicated to high-level strategic alignment and shaping the future of global collaboration. It is fundamental to GPA’s global mission: delivering significant added value to partners and business customers.

GPA Board of Directors from 2026

Marjolein will join the GPA Board of Directors on 1 January 2026 for the next three years. The seven-member Board is made up of leaders from GPA Regional Business Units and provides leadership and direction to the executive management of GPA BV.

The Board consists of:
